We've invested in a new Protek CNC machine at our Ossett workshop. It's another step forward for Unique and it means better van linings, delivered faster, for every customer we work with.

For over 20 years we've designed and built everything in-house. Every ply lining and racking kit that leaves our workshop is cut here in Yorkshire. That's why the machine doing the cutting matters so much and why we've put serious investment into the latest technology.

What the new machine means for you

• Every panel cut exactly the same. The Protek machines every component to the same high standard, time after time. Whether it's your first van or your five-hundredth, the fit is consistent.
• Cleaner cuts, better finish. More precise machining gives sharper edges and tighter cut-outs around wheel arches, lights and fixings. You'll see the difference when the doors open.
• Faster lead times. Faster cutting and shorter production times mean kits are ready sooner. That keeps our 24-hour turnaround on track and gets your vans back on the road.
• More capacity for fleets. We can now cut more components, more efficiently and clear production bottlenecks. Fleet orders of 10 or 1,000 vans are scheduled and delivered with confidence.
• Less waste. Smarter cutting patterns get more from every sheet of ply. That's good for efficiency and good for the environment.
• Built for any van. The machine switches quickly between designs, so we can move from a Transit Custom to a Sprinter, or from a standard kit to a bespoke layout, without slowing down.
